Ordering Information of NBRP tomato FLcDNA clones

National Bioresource Project (NBRP) Tomato has collected more than 13,000 full-length cDNA clones and distribute them to the research community of both academia and industry. The full-length cDNA clones are available from Osaka Prefecture University (OPU) with the distribution fees on the expense-recovery basis.

Clone Request Form and Material Transfer Agreement (MTA)

Complete the Clone Request Form (in Japanese) on line. Your online acceptance of the MTA will send your Clone Request Form to us. OPU takes the claimant information seriously. We are committed to safeguarding the user information, and we will not disclose any of them unless we have your consent.

Distribution Fee

The following chart indicates distribution fees. We will send you an invoice by e-mail as an acknowledgement of your clone request.

Fulfilling your request and shipping charges

The standard lead time of the fulfillment of your order is 3 weeks upon receipt of your request. We are using Japan Post's EMS service to ship those full-length cDNA clone(s). Handling and shipping charges are subject to regions, that are incremental to the distribution fee.

If you wish to use other courier services, we can make such arrangements as requested but at requesters cost. You may also have to pay any applicable local taxes.


Payment shall be made in Japanese Yen (JPY) by wire transfer to Osaka Prefecture University.

We will send you an invoice early in the next month, and please follow instructions on the invoice in order to pay by wire transfer. If you pay by wire transfer, be sure to add bank charges of 3,000 JPY on top of distribution fees and handling and shipping charges.
